The SOPA/PIPA bill was dropped by congress, but I think I would play it safe still if I were you.
Because politics are always the same. If a bill gets dropped, they re-write it and try to pass it again.
Megaupload has actually been under investigation for two years and they finally had enough dirt to shut them down (sad, sad day).
I hope mediafire stays safe, since it has a lower tolerance with copyright files and will delete them, whereas megaupload didn't.

I've actually gone and locked all of my download posts, just to be safe!
Sorry for such a long and rambling response, but yes, I think it's a good idea to lock your DL posts.

Yeah but they weren't completely dropped, just postponed so they might come back to bite us once they're rewritten. And I thought MU was investigated for about four years? :s Same difference though so
