Whilst carrying out some research intended to prove my case that all condoms are vegan (I was wrong - they're not), I came across the following advert:

"Eco friendly vegan condoms - The Natural Collection includes sustainable, natural, recycled, organic, biodegradable..."

I'm sorry but RECYCLED???  RECYCLED???!!  That is not a word I would want to ( Read more... )

Like recycled toilet paper these are made from recycled material rather than being made from old condoms!

The latex condoms are made of latex and in the production of Latex milk (cow milk) proteins are used.

The non-Latex condoms are made of Polyethelene and others are made of Polyurethane (PE) or Polyisopropene.

That one brand advertises that it has "vegan condoms" does not mean that all the other condoms are not.

The PE comes for example from recycled coke bottles...
