the first time - part 5
it was the day of sophies surgery, sophie and sian had there last night together that night, that they are going to have for a while, sian woke up remembering the hours of passionate, intense love they had made that night, then she suddenly herd sophie, she was franticly folding some tops into her hospital bag, her hands were shaking,
"sian, wheres are them blue trackies i like, sian, sian where are they!"
"hey hey hey, come here" sian said as she jumped out of bed and pulled sophie to her, sophie had her hands over her face as sian wrapped her arms around her
"im so scared sian" sophie said
"i know you are babe, but we will soon be back here, and ill be taking care off you, now you tell me what you want to pack and ill pack it"
"ok, oh and sian?"
"yeah"
"last night was amazing" sophie said with a smile on her face
"it really was" sian said as she kissed sophies forehead, "now lets get changed, your parents are gonna be here in half an hour"
the whole family were in the car on the way to the hospital, there was silence in the car, sophie was sat in the middle, holding sians hand and she had her head on sians shoulder, sally suddenly broke the tension
"once you are out of hospital, you both can move back in"
"mum, are you sure?"
"yeah, i want to make sure you can fully recover"
"thanks sally" sian said, "we were having a bit of trouble with the rent anyway"
"well we can start moving your stuff soon then"
they walked up to reception
"sophie webster, im here for an operation" sophie said as she slided a card to the nurse which had the details of her operation on, sophie didnt like talking about it out loud
"thank you miss webster, would you and your family like to take a seat in the waiting room to your left"
they all walked in and took a seat, sophie gave sian a look, she wanted to talk to her alone, sian always knew what sophie was thinking,
"umm, im gonna go to the loo quickly"
"yeah, ill come too" sian said as she followed sophie, they found an empty small room with 1 hospital bed in, they walked in and sian closed the door behind her,
"you ok?"
"yeah . . . well no, im not, its this surgery, there cutting away half of my breast sian, im gonna look hideous to you after, your not gonna wanna touch me again!" sophie sobbed
"hey, sophie, who do you think your talking to? its me, your the love of my life, nothing can stop me from loving and touching you, even if your . . . covered in puke" sian laughed
"haha eurgh sian, thats gross" sophie laughed back
"nothing will ever ever stop me from wanting to touch you" sian whispered as she pulled sophie towards her by her waist,
"not even now" sian breathed as she placed her lips on sophies, and started to unbutton sophies jeans
the door suddenly burst open "and here is your room Mr Bennett"
the girls darted away from eachother and giggled
"sorry, we'll be off now"
the nurse gave them a look as they left the room, they walked back into the waiting room
"you took your time" sally exclaimed
"they probably wanted a last 'tumble' before sophies surgery" rosie laughed
"rosie! shut your mouth!" sophie barked
"well, you didnt say no" rosie said under her breath, then they both started giggling, then the nurse entered with a wheel chair
"miss webster? its your time now, if you would like to take a seat in the wheel chair and i will take you to where your going"
"really? now? sian please, im scared, please come with me"
"can i?" she asked the nurse
"im sorry, only surgical members allowed"
sophies eyes filled with tears, sian wrapped her arms around her,
"ill see you when you wake up, ill be there sat next to your bed, i promise" sian said as she held sophies cheeks and kissed her lips, then her forehead
"i love you"
"love you too" sophie cried
sophie then gave sally, kevin and rosie a hug, and went with the nurse, sian and sophie kept eye contact until she left the room
three and a half hours later .......
the tension was building too much for sian
"AHH for god sake! whats taking them so long!" she yelled as she slammed her fists on the arms of the chair
"its alright sian, im sure they will be done soon" sally said as she rubbed sians back
a nurse entered the waiting room,
"Mr and Mrs Webster?"
they all stood up, "thats us, how's sophie"
the nurse came and took a seat opposite them with a serious look on her face
"i need you to listen, im afraid there has been some complications with your daughters surgery . . . . "
