First Day
The First Day is Over, and I’m ready to move - Week 1, Journal 1 26/2/09
Dear Diary,
I walked into Literature thinking about English HSC and honestly was thinking to myself “Why did I pick this subject?”
After 5 minutes into the class I was still wondering why I chose it and thinking to myself how much this day reminded me of my first day at school….. like….
- Not knowing what to expect, not knowing anyone in the course, and definitely not knowing what ANYONE is talking about!!
Until our course outlines hit me right in between my eyes! This was not the analytical part of the HSC, it was the part where I could finally “shine” and write what I think! I was over the moon and excited to hear more and more and more!
The movie was so inspirational that I went and hired it for the night! I know for sure that it will stay with me and my imagination for the whole semester and will help motivate me throughout my live journal entries!
I can’t wait to buy my books on Friday so that I can have more inspiration and I can write more about my experiences and challenges that have occurred through my life, and the experiences that will evolve through semester one of literature at ACU.
