I agree. Smoking's not a right. It has nothing to do with whether or not I like it (I smoke roughly 4 or 5 cigarettes in a year and mostly at cons) it's just not something that demands RIGHTS. It's a privilege for those who choose to do it :p

It SHOULD be a right to be able to avoid the smoke.

I pretty much agree with you, especially about taxing it.

I hate the smell, how it sticks to your skin, your clothes, your everything. How I cough around it, I get short of breathe and it flares my allergies. I hate how addicted some friends are too it and it stains their teeth, their nails and makes them look silly.

I agree, smoke it at home. Kill yourself there. I hate hate hate when I have to deal with it in public. I loved it when they made it illegal to smoke in restaurants so I could actually taste me food.

I do not believe smokers should have rights per say unless they do it in their own home (I would tax the hell out of them, good ideas for sure). In public out in areas such as parks and such, I am still trying to enjoy some fresh air and not cancer fumes.

I made a choice not to smoke, and I rather keep my lungs somewhat ok and not die from lung cancer that I buy out of a box.

So disgusting, ewww all I think is kissing an ash tray eww ewww.

Yeah, smokers love playing off their choice as something they can't control. I'm sorry that your shitty choice turned into an addiction. How the hell is that my problem? XD

Who likes making out with an ash tray?? Blegh!

Decided to write my own on my LJ. I am super against smoking as it totally made my own childhood unhealthy because of parents that would smoke it in my face. Nasty habit that affects others, for some reason some don't get that :/.

Yeah, it's sad that people in our parents generation and older just didn't know what the affects were when they were young. But our generation knows and it boggles my mind why people would still choose to pick up smoking.

Protip: You don't look cool when you smoke! You just look like an idiot.

I myself would definitely want to smoke in the privacy of my own home, so I sort of agree with you.
