I've been thinking alot about dreams.  And I'm wondering, who/what do you dream about the most?

Most of the time, I can't remember my dreams. Lately though, I've been dreaming a lot about camping and Burners. Sometimes, it's a burn event and a Voyager retreat at the same time. I guess I'm trying to bridge two communities.

Do you dream about specific people or are they generic Burners and Voyagers?

I have lots of the can't seem to get where I'm going dreams, trying to pack for a trip or to go to camp and I can't get all my stuff together, can't find my clothes, can't seem to get them all on.

Lately I've been having dreams with crowds of people, I'm somewhere in a crowd of people. They are not bad dreams, mostly they are kind of fun.

And, back to your other question from a while ago, no, I don't dream about people I know. I don't dream about my family or my pets or my friends or my lovers, at least not very often. Maybe once a year or so.

I dream mostly of strangers or composite people, someone who is everyone I know, or both my sisters and my mom, or is all my friends, or all the women I've been with, sometimes they shift one to another, sometimes they are all just rolled into one person.

If I had to guess, I'd say I've had more dreams about Amy Ray than I have about my mom. Does that make me a freak?

thanks for sharing.

i'm definitely in no position to judge who's freakiest based on the dreams they most often recall; which btw are probably only a small percentage of those you are having.
maybe you tend to cling to the ones about strangers & composite people more and THAT's what you should talk to your therapist about.

haha--teasing.

anyway, i have a fair # of the 'can't get where i'm going' dreams too; probably more often than the crowd ones, as far as i know/remember. i definitely don't think the 'can't get there' dreams are 'fun' but then again, i also don't really enjoying doing crossword puzzles just for the sake of going through the motions / challenging my brain that way. what good does finishing do me? i guess i don't get that much of a sense of satisfaction unless i'm either beating someone else or bettering myself in some way; so maybe my neurons aren't as well connected to e/o as someone who does crosswords.

(got kinda random there, i know.)
