Oh, I'm glad to hear good things about King Dork! I considered reading it and using it as one of my summer reading books (which, now that I think about it, would have been a much better choice than what I ended up with, but oh well!). Maybe next summer.

And I love Smoke Signals! I haven't seen the other two films. I'll have to put those on my list.

Re: art pad. Oh, come on. You do great work on art pad! Also, what about your Snuna? Didn't you write that this summer?

I have heard such good things about Chicago. I went when I was a kid, but I don't remember anything about it. Glad you enjoyed your trip, even if it was too short.

The first two people who talked to me told me not to smile so muchLOL! I can understand this. Coming from the South, I was shocked to see that no one smiled or met my eye when I walked around town. But in the end, it made me appreciate smiles all the more. Near the end of my time in Boston, I remember going to Dunkin' Donuts and having one of the employees greet me with a smile.
