Danger: Politics and Satire Ahead!
You may want to skip this. I don't want to offend anyone. But I also wanted to post jibjab's newest political satire for those who are interested.
I'm an Obama supporter. I have been since 2004 when he gave the speech in Boston at the Democratic convention. He's not perfect; he may be just another politician. I don't know. I didn't like his decision on FISA, but I'm still hopeful. We'll see how it goes.
That being said, I think the bruhaha over the New Yorker cover is silly. And I think the Obama campaign could have handled the response a lot more smoothly. Instead of saying it was "tasteless and offensive," why not say, "No comment" or better yet, take Jon Stewart's advice:
