Guess what! School has me so stressed out that I'm giving myself TMJ. I've been waking up every morning at 4am barely able to move my jaw, so I've been taking two Advil and falling asleep again on an icepack for about three mornings now. What is TMJ? I somehow suspect that it does not stand for "Tense Muscles in Jaw." But I hope it gets better. Would taking advil or some such before you go to bed help?
