katie that is beautiful your dad is so cool.

I miss you so much. And I know what you mean =) & =(

It's so shitty, that feeling. I know. and the funny thing is, this poem kind of explains it perfectly and it's still not enough. I've found myself lately realizing I have all these feelings but then I'm helpless to change them.

Anyway, you're a different person and you need different things now. We've all grown apart from each other, what I mean to say is:

We've all grown.
Apart from each other.

You know?

One day when we're older some of us will reconnect I think. But it's up to us to keep holding on even when communication is spotty at best.

The thing is, no matter how long we go without talking to or seeing eachother, our relationships are still the same. We love eachother just as much, we are just as excited when we DO see eachother, everyone still means the world to us, even though we have our own different lives, and sometimes it may not seem like it, that piece of heart reserved for that one person is always going to remain that way.

I nearly cried when I read this...I wrote to Dad after. He's so awesome to know that we would love this poem. Kate is right though...it's true that it's never the same as it was, but the feelings you have for people don't diminish just because you don't see them, and seeing them is still just as much fun. It's just not the same. Miss you Katie Burke sistergirl. Can't wait for Christmas!
