I posted this to my 'secret' work-based blog, but then decided it was so important that I needed to post it here as well. We get the Mail free with our Tesco home shopping delivery. They do tend to sensationalise things a bit, one of the stories yest was about a trans person who was due to be sent to a womens prison so they could go *full time* before their op as currently serving in a mens and cannot dress as they feel outside comfort of their cell. It made a large point of the fact this person may have had hormone treatment on the NHS, well duh Daily Mail - so does every other trans person that goes through NHS. I had to remind myself that there are two sides to each story, and that the Mail will only paint the worst... I do feel sorry for those that are into the habit of buying it :o(
