i can entirely understand the emotional attachment to clothes - its the memories from when they were worn and what they meant to you. for me when i cleared out in bump preparation it was like i was getting rid of a huge part of myself, sacrificing my identity so to speak.

Well part of it is that who I am has changed - or at least mutated a bit! I still like dressing up and wearing bizarre outfits, but I can't do heels anymore, I don't use handbags, I've put the inner goth to rest, etc - so anything high, leather, overly impractical or in black vinyl has to go!

no heels? oh dear. i'm not sure what i would do without mine, not that i wear much except my DM's most days... handbags sadly are also a thing of the past with me - replaced by change bag for Heather. as for the inner goth - mine lives on stronger than ever now i have someone who can appreciate me for all my quirkiness :o)

as for black vinyl am currently in deep lust over black pvc jeans - had a pair about 10 years ago and in a stupid moment cut them into hotpants forgetting lack of sewing machine. d'oh! so i am hunting down replacements!
