My date went well today. Not having dated in awhile, I was a bit... not nervous, exactly, but tentative, I guess. Yet we ended up chatting for three hours about anime, books and LA. I was surprised that we ended up talking so much about anime; he seems to watch more than me! He prefers older anime though, so I knew what he was talking about

I admit, I'm kinda jealous! It sounds like you're making out pretty well over there on the west coast. Personally, I hated living out there, but it sounds like you're adapting well and you've had some great interactions. Keep it up!
