My birthday was monday I'm officially a teen. I got an iPod from my dad and stepmom and TONS of money from everone else. Mom gave me a party when I went over there. Ah, so you're 13 now? Good stuff. Congrats.

Ha! Got caught reading in class. That's me all over again! Exactly what I did, and still do! I can name many occasions in which the teacher has gone crazy over me reading during a lecture.

My advice: Keep reading. Books are what make you smarter, not classwork. Try to be sneaky at it, and try not to have the book out in the open. Pay enough attention so that you can ace all your test grades, and hardly have to do any class work. Land it like that and you'll have about a mid-B Average. Don't read in math class whatever you do!! You must pay attention in that class. That stuff build on to itself. They're teaching you stuff now that you'll need when you get to be where I am. High school. I, for example, read Ender's Shadow during the first day of a Trigonanometry Lesson. And since a whole chapter is made up of two tests, me failing both of them didn't help my average at all. So don't read in math. You can read in English (the language never changes, lol), and in History (History is concrete ( ... )
