Happy Feet was one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen.

Really, I am not posting this to get flames/whatnot, I am posting this because I saw a million entries that said, "I thought it would suck but it didn't!" and I want to offer the rest of you a second opinion.

If you want reasons:

I think it was a religious cult movie in disguise. Really now, Irish!Penguin chief even said "pagan".

I do not care so much about pro-environmentalist propaganda as long as it is done well and subtly, like Pixar's Finding Nemo. I love Pixar to death because they never turn out shit.

It was very pro-typical-American values set. I mean, fucking Mexican penguins!

I'll admit, the movie was entertaining, but I just couldn't ignore the bad points enough to enjoy it. Bummer, ain't it?

I certainly can see your point, and more official reviews that I read essentially said the same thing.

I liked the movie. But damn, sad story of a romantic debacle when I went to see it with a woman who I'm pretty sure likes me but is so shy she's afraid to hold hands with me while watching a movie. Found that out like right before the scene with the song "Somebody to Love" by Queen.

): That's a crummy thing to associate with a movie that you liked.

The movie was entertaining at points, but the flaws just bugged me way too much to see past much else.

The first parts of the movie were OK. But as it progressed I think it went into something it shouldn't have.

Should have watched Night at the Museum XD!

Well I didn't pay money to watch Happy Feet... lol Pamela's brother had it on his video iPod. XD!

Was it me or did the mom penguin sound like Nicole Kidman on a lot of helium?
