California!
I just got back from a lovely trip to California to see my Uncle.
Someone gave my uncle a Towel Origami book, so I made this

I think I appreciate my uncle more and more every time I see him. While it does help that he spoils me to death, it's mostly actually because he's wonderfully liberal and artsy in comparison to everyone else in my family. In other words, neither of us fits in with the rest of those people...
My new experiences on this trip have taught me that Southwest is a strange airline, Casinos are not, in fact, empty on Christmas, and Asqew's food is delicious and should be available out here. And my not so new experiences show that Dorothy and I for some reason have an incredibly difficult time actually hanging out. But, someday, it will occur, and the hand holding will resume!
