So the customer that I simply could not handle yesterday called to find out what the manager on duty did about me. She was shocked and dismayed to hear that I had not been fired on the spot. OMG what a hag!! Seriously hon - if you lost your cool on some broad, then she totally deserved it. You treat people the way you would like to be treated so if you were rude you were PUSHED. What a low-life harpy if she seriously wants to come in to talk to your manager to try to get you fired - she obviously has NO LIFE and is such a sad-sack that she needs to get her jollies by getting people fired.

That being said, retail comes up against jerks like that all the time - the holier-than-thou bullies who take the 'customer is always right' mantra a little too far. The customer is NOT always right, the customer has no right to bully employees, and quite frankly, you don't get paid enough to lick her boots the way she seems to want you to. I'm so happy that your store understands that and will stand up for you, even if she does go to corporate.
