When wishing to pass another vehicle, one does not pass on the right side. One especially does not pass on the right side when the only lane available is one that will shortly merge into the same lane as the slower, but still accelerating, vehicle. Other drivers are jerks. I once had someone speed down a meridian right before a bridge just to cut me off and flip me the bird, and all because I'd just come through a light at rush hour and didn't let him merge when he had a yeild sign. Yeild sign for you means right of way for me, and I'm not holding up the 87123465 cars behind me so that you can get in when it's not your right of way!

I hope you weren't in an accident. *hugs*
