I feel my feminism rant winding up

Today I was walking home from school with a woman whose child was once in Melaine's class. I was asking about her trip to Bahrain, where she is from, and where her husband works and lives. Unbelievable how some woman are treated!!! Just irks me! I don't think I could have held my tongue as well as you!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I've had to bite my tongue so often talking to some of our Indian neighbours, it's just painful!! If the daughter is second generation and was born here, she may end up rebelling and insisting on staying in Canada but probably not. If her children are given the same opportunities, though, they will most likely chose to live in Canada. It is just so hard to watch the inequality happening in our neighbourhoods and right before our eyes..and there's really nothing that we can do about it ( ... )
