Gosh, yes, I did write that a few years ago when I was totally in love with CLex! *g* I still love them, just it's a little difficult to watch Smallville these days without having to lock myself in a room of denial.

But, wow, thank-you, that's so kind of you! :D I always hope people will enjoy reading the fic as much as I enjoy writing it, and that one for me was a lot of fun giving the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal a Clex twist. So, really thanks for that, I do appreciate it.

What an absolutely brilliant twist to what's becoming an old saw, Carson's Mum and her "apron strings." And how perfect her response is, to reach out csrefully, tentatively, but certain that she's not going to let anything come between her and Carson now that she's got him back. Excellent snippet!

;D Thanks ever so much, I'm so pleased you liked it, especially the characterization of Carson's mum. I suppose I imagine she would be something of a pragmatist, especially since she and Carson are supposed to be incredibly close yet in season 1 he's pretty much out of contact for close to a year. After going through that kind of separation, I imagine she might view everything else as something she could learn to cope with.

You know, something about Carson referring to his mother in "Letters from Pegasus" as a delicate, sweet old lady, who was pure as the driven snow, just made me picture her swinging that handbag! LOL! Boys like Carson always think their mothers are angels! *g*
