Yay Sorby! What fun! With the poverty at that level, I need to ask, do they see you, and think you are a millioniare? Do they treat you like you are powerful?
And oo! military check points...don't be nervous Sorby...You have lewt fighting skills...I bet they look at you and back off saying...Ooh look, the great Sorby is amungst us! *grin*
Yeah, the poverty over here is amazing, bit for a lot of them its all they know i think. Houses made out of corrugated iron, no windows or anything - just "gaps". Even with the country in military rule at the moment, everyone is so damned friendly. Im sitting 30 metres up a tower, and all the kids on the ground wave at me, tell me to be careful and then wish me a happy new year... Its not really a class system when i meet them - its kinda hard to explain.
And i finally saw the military checkpoints pull someone over yesterday! What was it for? The driver wasnt wearing a seatbelt. Never mind the fact they all drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid potholes, and the fact that people ride around in the tray in the back of a ute. Things are certainly differntly done around here.
