Update on Eaglecams

The Eaglecam I posted the other day has been shut down. Both eggs failed to hatch - the embryos were likely not viable to begin with - and the parents have left the nest. More about what happened to the Hornby Island eagles can be found here. The website does say that another eagle's nest will be "coming today" but that message was up yesterday

I saw how the eggs weren't viable. Sad. :| All that work and energy spent into makng babies and your babies never get born. *SNIFF!*

On a happier note, I work near artificial lakery, and there are at least 4 sets of Canadian geese parents. I saw them all yesterday. One set of parents had 5 babies. One set had 7 babies. One set had 9 babies. And one set had one baby. *sniff* How freaking cute is that?! Their one precious gosling.

Okay, I'm not hormonal with pregnancy or any shit like that.

I was sad about the eagles too.
