First snapdragon blossom!

I got home today to discover one of my snapdragon blossoms has opened! What's interesting is that the closed buds look purple but the colour inside is a reddish-orange! Will have to take a picture tomorrow!

you need to get the hell outta my head, SoN. Snapdragons are one of my favorite flowers. I can't walk by them without making their little jaws "snap."

Oh yeah. and don't forget to keep hydrated. Low-30s + humidity is just nasty.

Are you sure it's not you who is in MY head? If you hadn't beaten me to it, I would have posted pretty much what you did about fertilizer causing the bends in Yags' journal!!! :)

I just got back after going out for lunch. Humidity isn't too bad yet, but the heat in the sunshine is intense. I am more worried about walking around without sunscreen. But yeah, I am drinking my water now because Tim Horton's iced cappuchino machine was broken. :(

I am so thankful on days like today that we bought a house with central air conditioning.
