12 in 2012 - A Day of Art

One of my challenges for this year is to do something arty - and by that I meant mucking around with paint. I've had a mental block about art ever since primary school, where I got told off for drawing trees like giant green lollipops.

cygninae very kindly offered to hold my hand while I experimented with her art supplies. The pictures below are the results

This is so true. I've spent so much time making art "look like things" that I'd forgotten what it was like simply to lose myself in the process. Thanks to Sorcha, I also ended up playing and thoroughly enjoying myself in the process.
