had a bad day

I walk to my car this morning, coffee in hand,  ready for my 8:30 final.

My window - busted, glass -everywhere, and my stereo - gone.

Great.

They took my Prague canvas bag that I was using as a gym bag too, with my sneakers.

Excellent.

new shoes purchased
glass of wine
call it a day

new stereo - eventually

knock on wood, but how is it that I've managed so long in good ol' south central (accidentally leaving the door to my house not only unlocked, but wide open) without a similar thing happening.
