Thank you. 50lbs is the equivalent of a small bale of hay, so I'll take it. Doc was pleased. Cleared me for all physical activities...so now I can go back to the gym and even pick up a rapier if I want.

That's amazing! I have been considering having weight loss surgery, but I am trying to lose through diet and exercise first if I can. I have lost 15lbs since February but I've stalled. Congratulations!

It's definitely not something to approach lightly. I finally went with the decision due to health conditions I was facing, and an inability to lose enough weight to make the changes I needed.

Congrats!! I had roux-n-Y done I think in 2006? It’s been quite some time ago, so I can relate. I’ve bounced up a bit in the last 5-6 years, but am still keeping off over 100 lbs, so it can be done!

Keep at it - sounds like you’re doing great!
