i've just sent that article to a couple of pagan mailing lists. i remember the kerfuffle at the Olympics in Athens, over the lighting of the sacred torch (which, in that case, traveled around the world and back to Greece), and the Greek Orthodox patriarch getting all stuffy about the invocation to Apollo. but it's encouraging to see that, despite a thousand years or more of the Orthodox Church, many Greeks are Greek first, and Christians second ;-)
