it sounds as if she ate something that was either spoiled, or poisonous to her, and once she got it out of her system, she got better. there are a lot of things that are poisonous to dogs (but not cats, and vice versa) - did you know that grapes and raisins are very bad for dogs, and so are onions? anyway, i'm glad to hear she's better, and give her a pat from the crazy old lady.

Ahh, poor pup. How's she doing today? Will you be taking her to the non-emergency vet at all?

We called our vet today. He gave slightly different instructions which included chewable peptobismol tablets. All in all I'm sure she'll be fine.

i'm really glad to hear that. having a sick pet is as terrifying as having a sick child.

Ohhh, I'm so sorry, I hope the puppy is feeling better today.

And congrats on kicking ass with the weight loss. I need to get moving on that as well. I don't have money to motivate me, though. At least not directly. I need to remind myself that I can't afford to buy new pants, so I need to lose weight in order to fit into the pants I already own.

If only we lived closer, we could totally smack each other into motivation.
