So that's what took up about three hours of my day, but I've been wanting to do that since we moved in. Yay for progress!

what kind of fluorescent fixtures did you put up?

(and if i owned this house, instead of renting, there are quite a few things i'd do to it...)

Just replaced normal 2' X 4' two bulb strip lights with the same. Because the ceiling's lower in the bedroom, we felt that putting in ceiling fans like we had originally thought about would be suicidal :)

i assume you already know which kinds of fluorescent light are good for you, and which aren't. i know a lot of people who get anything from severe eyestrain to migraines from certain kinds of fluorescents, but the more "natural light" kind tend to be okay. and they do save electricity.
