I drove through snow this morning. It was not a few flakes, it was driving snow. When I arrived at work there were even patches of snow on the ground. I am putting you on notice. If I see any more snow before Samhain, I will be very very angry and direct that anger as much as possible to you. It's May 12th, not May 1st, not April. I expect to

Snow? In May? o_O Ok, Mother Nature needs either some really good counseling or some really strong anti-manic drugs. The weather patterns lately are downright ridiculous!

we're just getting "rain, heavy at times" (i.e., occasional downpours), with sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph and gusts up to 45. it's been like that all night. it is pretty cold, too - it's stayed right around 47 F. since midnight.

of course, in a couple more weeks we'll be complaining about the heat and humidity. frankly, i wasn't expecting the weather to be comfortable for me until sometime after Samhain. but at least i'll be comfortable today... until and unless the sun comes out and heats up the black-shingled roof...
