Conscience: Made of Fail.

Zdravo.

Conscience has not gone nearly as well as expected since my last update. A compunction of work, moving, and burn-out have dropped me off a week behind my posting schedule. I'm eating its proverbial dust at this point. It's gonna be a sprint-and-a-half to get caught up.

Correct. Chances of my writing the sequels in the next year or two are slim-to-none.

I will finish what I have outlined for Conscience. The fic has a definitive ending. However, there will be plot elements left open-ended. There are puzzle pieces for the future story left lying around, so not everything will be tied up in a neat little bow at the end of the fic. There will still be questions unanswered, but not questions integral to the central plot of the story.

Conscience/Beretta will be able to stand on its own when finished. That's not to say it wouldn't be enhanced by my writing the (significantly shorter in length) sequels. It's just not worth it for me right now. I have other projects I'd like to get to--things I can actually, you know, publish in exchange for food and boozihol.

Okay, my dear, where can I find this lovely story? That you often speak of.

I hope you get to write as much as you are wanting and still get some sleep :)
