What is wrong with my body?

May 23, 2006 09:52

I joked around with mom last night, saying that if I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom I would hold on the walls. This was so incase I fainted, I would have some sort of stablizer, and not just plunk to the ground. I mean, I am sick right now,but I actually didn't think I would faint. Guess I was wrong. This time I fainted in ( Read more... )

Jesus christ woman!!! I didn't know you were that sick. Maybe it's because of all the stress or all of the sudden working out you've been doing, your body is feeling tired. In anycase, I'll try to visit you today. I'm coming to the rescue!!!!

The sensation of passing out feels actually quite nice...it's just not good that you can get hurt during the fall. You've been sick lately, so maybe you're just weak right now? Make sure not to overexert yourself and rest your body! I hope you'll feel better soon! <3

OHMYGODAREYOUOKAY!? You should travel with a buddy at all times! What if you got hurt? What if you hit your head on something and died!? THEN WHAT!? You have to be more careful! *huggleglompsquishlove* Get lots of rest and drink lots of tea. I know the tea thing will be painful since you despise the stuff, but you must. *heart*

Oh, and get better soon. *love*

Oh, fear not--I do not despise the tea. Quite the contrary! Have I not told you about my Christmas Tea Partys of the past?

I am on the road to recovery, luckily enough.

I know you do not despise the tea my silly friend. I suppose sarcasm does not transfer through LJ like I was intending...

That is good! Otherwise, I ould have had to send an escort down there to walk around with you! *heart*

That happens to me a lot - either you're overexerting your body (losing weight too fast or overstressing, for example), or your blood pressure is bad or you're anemic and need more iron in your blood. Or all of the above. ^.^;
Just make really sure you drink enough, get enough fresh air and eat enough at all times (though especially when you're having your period). And if you haven't yet, get your blood checked - if you have anemia, red food like red fruit or liver will provide you with Iron. Hmmm... and yeah, it's not so much about the heat of the water, I'm afraid, I've fainted in not-so-hot water, too, because showering sometimes lasts quite long. ^.^; And if it calms you, both a friend and I have found that while the body might break down, it still seems to take care of not getting too hurt - when I fainted in a full shop last time, I fell onto my knees and didn't even have bruises later on. So, take care and trust your body. ^.^;

I hadn't even thought about anemia....@_@; I hope that is not the case. However, I have had my blood taken recently for going abroad, and they have done a variety of tests on it and said nothing to me about that--so I must presume that is not it. However, I will make an appointment when I go back home to see if that is the case, just so I can be aware of my condition.
