I was watching the Antoine Doinel series with my mother. It is a collection of movies, following the same character throughout his life, taking place in the 1950s-1970s in France. Shintaro Ishihara, the "sankokujin" guy who said foreigners (and that includes second-generation Koreans -.-; ) should be caged in when an earthquake occurs because they're "wild"? Grrr... I held a report about "Asian Human Rights" (as opposed to "Western" Human Rights) and didn't hear too great things about him at ALL. But yeah, he's also a writer and did win a price. Annoys the hell out of me. >.

Well, he doesn't seem to me like the type of guy I would like to associate with. Hardly! It made me so angry to read about him in class--but, nevertheless, I am glad that I could put names with famous people. At least, in the political world. Plus, his name appeared in an area I least expected it too, so that was even more astonishing!
