Kids, Kids, Everywhere!

So, on Wednesday night my Cousin and his family came to pay us a visit. They usually hail from Washington, but instead went camping down in California and decided to visit us on the way back. They had 4 kids, 3 of them under the age of 7. Now, for those who know me--kids, especially young kids really aren't my thing. But, actually, as far as kids ( Read more... )

Aw no, the Germans weren't too good, and there was apparently a penalty that Argentina should have gotten, but didn't. Lehmann was really good, but it's kinda easier to go into penalty shootouts when you've killed the other team's goalie first. -.-; I'm only happy for the German fans (and rooting for Portugal!). ^.^;

Kids can be nice. ^.^; I went to see my cousin yesterday, and her 14-month-old son (who's a redhead, whoever he inherited that from ^.^; ) was very charming and cute. ^o^ Then again, that is -the- age to be charming and cute anyways, so he didn't have to make much of an effort. ;p
The cousin sounds like the kind of kid I'd like, too.

Yes, the Germans were terrible yesterday! If they had been better they could have scored another goal...but sadly they just sucked so bad. And Ballack (or is it just Ballak) was in a lot of pain, from what it looked like. Do you know anything about that brawl that happened after the game?

I like kids, in small doses. Like, if I go visit my cousin for a day, sure, kids, no problem. BUT them staying at our house for a period of three days, me having to entertaine them, go to work, and then entertaine them...then it does get a little tiring. I mean, granted, the kids were cute...but not for that amount of time.

Ballack said later on that he had cramps, and as for the brawl... I think some Argentinian player hit a German player, but the only thing I really saw was that the German manager, Oliver Bierhoff, was having a rather heated discussion with one or more Argentina players.

Yeah, three days could make the most kid-loving person feel annoyed (if they aren't your own kids, that is). ^.^; Personally, I think I'm lucky that kids are kind of quiet and obedient around me most of the time. Also known as "scared to submission". XD
