Like I told him, people are going to pull that shit whether or not they get the facts and it'll only make them paranoid.
The patrols can do what they want and they have everyone's safety in mind, but keeping the truth around this group only riles people up. They have to be ready to deal with the rumors and worse.

I'm sure they'll try their hardest to be ready. I still believe that this is for the best, though. As soon as a name is given, I'm certain that people will start coming out of the woodwork and seek their own personal justice, without giving thought to what consequences that might have.
I don't know exactly what's happened now, but we've had a murderer on this island before, yes. A disturbed youth took the life of my ex-roommate Deidara, and Ichigo and Gunter found him before the patrolmen did, and...like I said, they were killed.
Silv was eventually locked in prison after that, and he disappeared from the island never having been set free again.
If something dangerous is going on, shouldn't they be telling us? If you're comparing this to Silv it's got to be bad! Maybe we shouldn't be going to school, or work? What if something happens?!!
I'm not comparing anyone to Silv. I'm comparing the dangers that word-of-mouth rumors can have in this population. We have patrolmen that are working and ready to take care of the situation, and I don't want to see a few hot-headed heroes come out and feel the need to attack the problem themselves. We need to approach this calmly and rationally.
I'll be speaking with the patrolmen, actually, about setting up some protection at the school at the very least.
It just seems dangerous to tell us nothing! If they don't tell us anything, of course we're going to think up the worst. It's creepy being left in the dark. I don't want to run into anything dangerous! That patrolman never seems to like explaining himself.
Perhaps if you attended Sanaki-sensei's english classes, your writing comprehension wouldn't have suffered.
Ichigo was revived by the head cleric due to her immense powers, which she completely exhausted to bring both Ichigo and Gunter back to life; she suffered from a many-weeks coma after that feat.
Silv hasn't returned, you can see the room asssignment's list if you need reassurance.
Hey, it's not my fault I didn't know the clerics could do that! It doesn't seem possible, and it's not like that stuff comes up in regular conversation.
It's not like everyone's name is listed on those apartments, though. Aren't there some people who live outside of the apartments, in their own houses?

Maybe they'll listen to me...maybe they won't.

And how could Ichigo have been killed if he was around afterwards?
...and are you saying that this Silv guy is back now?
