93 - on the road again...?

Shit.

[ At least he has his wooden box with him. That alone would mean survival, if this was another week-long phenomenon. Unfortunately, it was almost more full of mushi-related items than survival items.

I get all the stuff about sticking together, but what's so bad about going out into the woods? It's never been dangerous before, so what's the big deal now?

It's been something I've been worrying about in the back of my mind for a while, actually. I thought it'd be all right, since people didn't stay there for long; now, we'll have to find shelter in the trees for a number of nights.

I don't want someone getting affected by something now during a crisis, also.

But then what happens if "something" comes to us even if we don't go out into the forest?

It so happens that they've never come into the town all my time here; the island's magic is keeping them out.

I know how to survive in the wilderness. I'm a mercenary, so I can't always count on shelter.

Excellent. I'm hoping we'll find more knowledge among us after some snooping around.

Um...well, I guess it's good to know what to forage, but...I was thinking we need to get some people together to hunt and fish. I can't hunt too well with just a sword, but I can definitely fish.

Mm... Well, I might be able to set up some rabbit traps. We'll see.

You're not going to use your sword, are you? Won't it rust?

M-Mr. Ginko, Mr. Ginko! W-W-What happened?

Patamon and I were trying to find Mr. Robo Jaime . . . But the town isn't there anymore! Where did everyone go?!

It's another trick caused by the island's magic. It should go back to normal in about a week's time, if it's like the other phenomenons.

Until then, we have to stay together. Just leave this to me and the other adults, okay? It'll be all right.

A week . . . So it's like the costumes? I liked the costumes a lot better.

Oh! I can fly if you need me to look for anyone -- Look!

[Patamon manages to slowly ascend about 20 feet in the air, puffing heavily before he glides back down to settle on top of Takeru's head.]

See?

Mm. Not bad. We'll be counting on you then, Patamon. Just keep an eye on Takeru for me, all right?

Well, I'm glad one of us knows what they're doing. Any idea what happened?

No choice but to assume it was the island's magic at work again. If it can turn all the buildings into candy, then this seems just as possible...

...Still, the ability to move all that matter all at once so quickly is unnerving.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not how science is supposed to work, but magic's kind of funny like that.

Indeed.

Booster, how are you with handling crowds? I think you might be good at keeping an eye on everyone and making sure the panic level stays to a reasonable low.

*Ginko is delegating, yes he is*

Sounds good to me.

I think there's other people around here who can fly too, so we should be fine if they can take care of everyone.

Mm. As soon as anyone realizes someone's missing, I'd appreciate it if they alerted me so I can locate them, and then we'll send out a search party. Our group's a little calmer and more peaceful than it was a year ago, though, so I don't foresee too many problems.

Even better for us, then. I'm not exactly sure what I can do to help, but let me know if there's anything I can do.

How about rounding up some firewood. Dry, if you can find it...
