Yes. I, too, have noticed a number of coincidences. It's as if the island knows more about us than we do. Given the situation, I suppose that much is entirely plausible.
...I'm glad. Really. It's a relief that Fay didn't disappear alone. Perhaps they really did manage to go back to their own world...
At home, I have to keep moving from town to town every so often, or the place that I stay in will become overcrowded with "mushi", a kind of supernatural pest, you could say. Nothing good can come of too many of them coming together in one spot like that. If it weren't for the magical barrier surrounding the town and keeping them in the wilderness, I wouldn't be able to stay and live in town like this.
It was undoubtedly on purpose that such a barrier exists.
"Mushi"? I've never heard of such a thing before, but it does sound as if matters could turn troublesome should their numbers continue to grow in a single area.
I've... been told that people don't normally die here, as well. Do you think that there may be a similar reason for such a precaution?
The magic of the island supports its inhabitants in mysterious ways, doesn't it. *his face grows slightly dark* ...Yes, although it isn't that people don't die.

I do feel bad about how little I remember about him, though. Too bad we can't choose memories, right?

Do you remember what he looks like? You never know, maybe he'll end up on the island some day, too.
