Had a good day
I had a good day today. I had lunch at Taam China with rivkaesque, who I haven't seen in years. Afterwords, we went to the kosher wine tasting that Brookline Liquors was having. I bought a bottle of what I'm fairly sure is the stuff I like (at the 20% off price you could get if you agreed to receive their spam).

(Obviously World Domination is only a side effect of the committee's true purpose, more Kosher restaurants in New Jersey :) -
dripping shower head
My showerhead has this tendency to hiss/spritz/make wierd noises/change water flow if I open the hot water handle too much. It usually goes back to normal if I turn back the handle a bit. Except this time it didn't. I had a bad feeling when the spray went kafluey for more than a few seconds.

The economy hits close to home
In the past 24 hours I've just found out that two of my friends were laid off. One of them was expecting to be laid off when his union job ended. In his case the end just came a few weeks sooner than expected. My other friend just had vague "the economy is bad and the company I work for isn't doing well" feelings ( Read more... ) -
