[Emil can't help but notice that Ion looks, well... rather rumpled as he passes him on the path that afternoon. So, naturally, he's going to wonder just what's up, because Ion usually looks so dignified and put together.]

[It takes Ion a moment to realize Emil had spoken up. Aside from his clothes looking roughed up, he also looked a bit tired. Perhaps a bit pale as well, but that wasn't too out of the ordinary for him.]
