I think most of the under-25 population of the Twin Cities must have been. Everyone in the group I was with ran into at least one unexpected person they knew.
You never told me you hadn't been to a rock show before - I would have made more of an effort to prepare you for that inevitable mosh-fest. In terms of how trampled one gets on average, punk bands such FM are far, far more insane. The appropriate audience participation for Indie rock bands involves no more movement than absolutely necessary to maintain a sense of your own existence (maybe head-nodding, MAYBE).
I'm glad you had a good time - and I still owe you cds. Call me sometime after work if you can swing by for two minutes.
