Shelter is quite possibly my favourite 'gay-themed' movie ever! And my bff is a collector of such things, so I've seen a fair few :D
I totally agree, it's actually a good movie! The characters, the struggle between famly and self. Just thinking about it makes me want to watch it again!
*high five for awesome movie choice*

Someone on my list, I don't even know who, talked about it just before it came out to DVD. I downloaded it and fell HARD for the whole damn movie. When the DVD came out, I had to order it from Amazon and it's been well viewed. The characters have a way of getting under your skin and staying there. Everyone did such an amazing job!

These icons are wonderful!!

"Shelter" is a lovely little movie of any genre. Much better than some of the crap that Hollywood spoon-feeds us.

Thank you for sharing.

Yes, Shelter was beyond adorable. It now ranks up there with Big Eden on my warm, gay fuzzy list.

(And if you haven't seen Big Eden, you absolutely must.)

I was just going to ask how it compared - I loved Big Eden. I haven't heard of Shelter but clearly now I must seek it out.
