So I casually decided to check out numb3rs100 earlier today, and when I saw the current prompt ("Champagne") an idea popped into my head (not unlike a champagne cork? okay, no, nevermind. :-P) and I opened up my word processor and wrote this in about, oh. I love what you've done with the prompt. I can see Amita in that dress. The color looks good on here, as does the gold jewelry.

Drabbles are fun and it is a nice way to play in the fandom without committing a great deal of time and effort into the fic. As you've seen I toss off drabbles with alarming regularity because they are enjoyable and easy. Write 100-300 words, get feedback. Where's the bad?

Well hey, you could always pretend Don's throwing the party and Charlie's lusting after the girl. Technically. :-) Don/Amita has a very naughty aspect to it that I love, but it seems that there's hardly any out there. (and besides, least favorite? Dare I say ALAN/LARRY? Muahahaha... sorryIhavetogothrowupnow.)

I just realized that I apparently consider Don/Amita naughtier than Don/Charlie. WHAT. *facepalm*

Don and Amita is naughty because brothers don't steal each other's girls. Best friends do it and it ruins their friendship. Brothers? That's a world of hurt you don't even want to get into. Hands off period.

I literally do NOT remember being even remotely shocked or put off when I first found Don/Charlie fics. So, yeah. That's me. :-)

I find Don/Amita a lot more appealing, too. The thing that kills me is that TPTB set it up for there to be a bit of sibling rivalry, and if you look at some of the early Season One episodes, the looks between Don and Amita are just blatant.... and then that storyline was completely dropped. *sigh* Not that I want them to hook up on the show, but just a little more flirting would be nice. :-)

Thank you! In such a slash-based fandom, I always feel a little weird about my love of het (and especially of Don/Amita, who are hotter than hot), worried that nobody else will like it. :-)

I've read some of your work in the past and absolutely loved it, so I'm thrilled that you liked this. :-)
