Charlie is dripping when Amita finds him. He's staring at the ripples the raindrops are creating in the pond, smiling at the math he sees there. Amita steps close, holding her umbrella over both of them, and he looks up at her, touches his hair like he's surprised to find it wet.
"Oh," he says. "Thanks."
She laughs. "You're welcome. Having fun?"
He knows she's teasing him and his smile turns exasperated, a little embarrassed. "I just have a thing for surface tension."
"It's alright, I understand," she murmurs. She leans forward, kisses him. "I have a thing for you."
