She wakes in a sweat, an unfulfilled ache deep in her belly and her thighs slick when she moves to sit up. In the dream she'd felt his fingers and his skin as warm as if he were here pressed against her, and it makes her breath catch remembering it, her cheeks heating in embarrassment.
She splashes icy water on her skin and schools her face in the mirror. At work, she tries valiantly to hold her expression steady, but he smiles as he hands her a coffee and she feels it shoot through to her core, making her want.
