Numb3rs drabble: 5 Things Amita Does to Forget Charlie
I posted this over at the n3_slashchat comm, since that's what I wrote it for, but I thought I'd post it here, too, 'cause I kind of like it. :-)
~200 words, rated PG-15, contains femmeslash. Naturally. ;-) Thanks to elysium1996 for the prompt and to my friend D. on his advice for the ending.
1. Brianna has curly hair, but it's blonde and tamed and it stands out against the darkness of Amita's new sheets. She's soft and smooth, sweet under Amita's tongue. Her eyes sparkle bright blue when she smiles up at Amita after she makes her come.
2. She takes up the guitar. Her teacher is cute, straight out of college and younger than she is. She flushes when she messes up at first, but he doesn't tease her, just smiles patiently and moves her fingers to their proper places on the strings.
3. She goes out dancing, tries to remember the moves her cousin taught her in high school, but soon the music takes over and she lets the bodies around her guide her, rough fingers sliding along her skin in the space between her shirt and her jeans.
4. Her boss keeps her late, and she feels like her brain barely even works by the time she gets home each night. She scrubs off her makeup and then uses a lavender scented scrub in the shower, closing her eyes and letting the steaming water wash over her.
5. There's this little bakery down the street that has the best doughnuts.
