Drat. I had the enormous pleasure of working with Utah Phillips at a folk festival in 1970, as a little geek college kid techie. He was terrific. I hadn't known the IWW (the Wobblies) were still organized until he mentioned one evening that he had stood for election as their Presidential candidate in '68. He talked about running riverboat patrols in Vietnam during his military hitch when most Americans didn't know there was such a place.
