I think emotional cheating can be worse than physical cheating. Emotional cheating is a deeper and longer lasting connection than the raw, sexual connection that comes with physical connections. It is easy to have a physical connection with one person one night when its all about hormones and no real emotion. It is not as easy to make emotional connections with just anyone so when an emotional connection is made with someone else I think it is more threatening to a relationship in the long run. Physical connections usuall fizzle out after time if that is all that is there but emotional connections tend to get stronger.....at least in my own experiences.
