1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Voted, bought alcohol, loved myself, tried, pierced my nipples.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember what they were. :S Next year I resolve to not do drugs, to be honest with myself, and to just do my absolute best at everything.

3. Did someone close to you give birth?
Yup, my cousin.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.

5. What countries did you visit?
None.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?.
Acceptance to UofT! More energy.

7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Dragonforce, Iron Maiden, In Flames, the last weekend of july (Steph's cottage). May 24.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Growing into/accepting myself. Getting a job as a music teacher. Becoming a hardworking person.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Staying in a relationship that was obviously a lie. The first few times I tried to quit drugs. General denial.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing serious, no.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
The Dragonforce tickets. I'd say Iron Maiden or In Flames but I didn't buy those...

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Me, J, J, and Z, for quitting that nasty white shit.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Julian's.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Very early in the year, all of my money went to supporting Julian. After that, supporting our drug and food habits. Oh, and a lot of money went to flute/piano lessons/competitions/exams/courses/etc. Also concert tickets and transportation.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
University. Metal.

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
There's so many...but I guess 22 Accacia Avenue - Iron Maiden. Or maybe Love Rhymes - The Blood Brothers. Or Feel Good Hit of the Summer - Queens of the Stone Age. Too many...

17. Compared to this time last year,

i. are you happier or hardened?
Both, but the hardening I think is in a good way. I'm less sensitive and much more
self-assured.

ii. thinner or fatter?
Same-ish size, but in much better shape. DDR=<3

iii. richer or poorer?
Making more money, but having more expenses.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Seeing friends.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
*Sigh* Drugs.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Xmas day will be with my family, the "break" will be full of working, I'll probably see Nick and go to some parties/hangouts. Haven't really planned it yet.

21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
I think I did at the beginning, but it might've been at the end of 2005.

22. Any one-night stands?
No, I was in a relationship most of the year.

23. What was your favorite TV program?
24, Lost and Heroes. There can be no favorite.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate anyone.

25. What was the best book you read?
That's a tough one...Maybe Shadow of the Giant, maybe Saints.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Metal in general. And Celtic.

27. What did you want and get?
Teaching job. Grade 10 flute. Health. A better relationship with my parents. Confidence. Motivation. A whole whack of things.

28. What did you want and not get?
The perfect group of friends.

29. Favorite film of this year?
Snakes on a motherfucking plane. I didn't see very many movies this year :P

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
19, had wine and cheese with Julian Jess and Zach. Don't remember the rest :P

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I guess that perfect group of friends. I don't know, there were a lot of things I could've done differently this year, but I learned so much so I have no regrets.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
I got a lot more girly. Stopped being all goth/boyclothes and started wearing more flattering, cute, and mature clothing.

33. What kept you sane?
DDR. Sometimes Julian, other times he kept me insane. Same deal with the drug use I guess.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Keifer Sutherland. Mmmmmm.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Don't really follow politics. Probably should...

36. Who do you miss?
A lot of people, I won't bother to name them though because if I forget someone they might be offended. I'll mention Anthea though. I miss you Anthea! LOOOOOVE

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Its possibly a little early to say, but probably Nick.
