I finally got my G1 yesterday! I also finally got all my marks for first term, and I have to say, 2008 is off to a pretty damn good start. I'm having mixed feelings about posting my marks here, but I've always done that in this journal, except in the past they've always been in the failing-to-barely-passing range, so now I feel like I'm bragging.

First times are always hard with meditation, espeically if all you're going off of is a book or internet knowledge. Maybe see if there's a buddist temple around or if anywhere has meditation lessons; mum took them, and they really help. ^^

There's a buddhist "center", they don't call it a temple, relatively close to me, but I'm sort of avoiding going (which I know is silly). I checked out there website and mostly all it talked about were retreats (which cost money) and Sunday meditations, which are not directed and you are expected to have some experience. But I suppose if I just went in there and talked to someone they would help me...I just need to work up the courage to go.
