It sounds pretty much the same as I remember the first version. A lot more clear on the ending, though.

And you sound kind of British.

If you went back and listened to the old version, you'd be shocked by the cleanliness of the vocals. The old one sounded like ass in a tin can. If you compare them side-by-side, the improvement is endless. And everything is clearer.

As for Britishness, you can take that 3 ways: A.) It's the flange-chorus. B.) The Southern accent is supposedly actually the closest to the traditional British accent. C.) I'm a nasal loser.

I heard once that the southern accent comes from the Irish accent, but I could have heard wrong...

It's probably the vocal effect.

But now that I think about it, it sounds a hell of a lot better than the original. I remember when you were recording with a My First Sony.
